10.1 Restore
10.1.1 About Restore
The restore screen displays all of the backups that are saved to the controller, and the controller's SD card. Non-compatible backup
files are displayed with dark grey background.
From this screen you can:
• See more information about a backup.
• Restore selected data from a backup.
• Delete a backup.
Non-compatible backup files
Backup files can be non-compatible with the current controller configuration when:
• The backup is from a different product type.
• The backup is from a different controller type.
• The backup is from a different controller configuration.
• The backup is from a controller with a different hardware configuration.
• The backup is not supported by the current controller software.
You can see detailed information about non-compatible backup files, but you are not able to restore the backup file.
Seeing more backup information
To see detailed information about a backup, perform the following steps:
1. Select Tools, from the Home menu.
2. Select Restore, from the Tools menu.
3. Highlight the backup that you want to see detailed information of by pressing Up or Down .
4. Press Info
to open the detailed information page for the selected backup.
5. Press Back to return to the previous page.
10.1.2 Restore controller
View the controller backups and restore a backup under
Tools > Restore.
Restoring backups
Before restoring a controller backup file, ensure that the following prerequisites are met:
Controller type
Prerequisites
GENSET controller
1. The breaker must be opened.
2. The engine must be stopped.
