4B.2.2 COOLANT TEMPERATURE
(a) High Coolant Temperature
Proceed according to:
3.2.2 - L/R ENG TEMP
(b) Low Coolant Temperature
- Check G1000 for L/R COOL LVL caution message (low coolant level).
NOTE
During an extended descent from high altitudes with a low
power setting, coolant temperature may decrease. In this
case, an increase in power and a decrease in airspeed can
help.
L/R COOL LVL Caution Message displayed:
- Reduce power on affected engine.
- Expect loss of coolant.
WARNING
A further decrease in coolant temperature must be expected.
Prepare for an engine failure in accordance with 3.7.6 -
ENGINE FAILURES IN FLIGHT.
