DA 62 AFM Operating Limitations
2.16.4 ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT
The use and switching on of electronic equipment other than that which is part of the
equipment of the airplane is not permitted, as it could lead to interference with the
airplane's avionics.
Examples of undesirable items of equipment are:
- Mobile phones
- Remote radio controls
- Video screens employing CRTs
- Minidisc recorders in record mode
This list is not exhaustive.
The use of laptop and handheld computers, including those with CD-ROM drives, CD
and mini-disc players in the replay mode, cassette players and video cameras is permitted.
All this equipment however should be switched off for take-off and landing.
NOTE
Refer to the applicable flight authority for the use of electronic
equipment associated with electronic flight bag operation.
