2.12.5 Position of the hook thread clamp
The purpose of the clamp 1 is to clamp the hook thread during the
cutting process, so that it can be safely caught by the needle thread
when starting the seam.
Caution: Danger of bodily injuries !
Turn off main switch.
Switch off the machine before adjusting the hook thread clamp.
Rule and control
The hook thread should be held safely by the lowest pressure possible.

Cut the threads by the thread pulling knife, operated by hand.

Pull the thread out of the clamp for checking the clamping
efficiency.
Correction
–
Loosen the screw 2.
–
Shift the clamp 1 accordingly.
–
Tighten the screw 2.
ATTENTION !
An incorrect adjustment may cause problems when starting the seam.
