Advanced Feature
Before selecting
the
destination location for
your
preset,
you
may
press one of the
unit
buttons
(A, B, C, D) to force the type of preset being written to
be
a 1 Unit preset. The
Data
Entry
Knob
will
now
select 1
Unit
preset
locations
and
when
you
press
Write-Copy
a
third
time to confirm
the save, the
unit
data
from the indicated
unit
will be saved as a 1 Unit preset
with
the
name
you
choose (the
default
name
is the
name
of the algorithm). This is useful for saving single units from
within
a 2U, 4U,
or
Config Preset where 1 Unit presets are
not
usually available.
Note
that
Ganged
2 Unit algorithms cannot be
saved
this way.
Similarly, pressing
Config
will force the type of preset being written to be a config preset. The
Data
Entry
Knob
will
now
select config
preset
locations.
Once
you
have
selected the
intemallocation
into which the preset will be written (or saved),
you
are
given
the
opportunity
to
edit
the
name
of the
new
preset.
- Press the
Write-Copy
button
again. The top line of the display will
show
one of four
different screens,
depending
on
what
type of
preset
you're saving:

This shows that you are naming a 1 Unit preset. This shows that you are naming a 4 Unit preset.
