Removing the Lockbox Cover

RemovethelockboxcovertoaccesstheD2switchasfollows:

1. Unlockthelockusingyourprovidedkey.

2. Slidethelatchonthelockassemblytotheunlockedposition.

3. Removethethreecoverscrews.

4. Unhookthecoverfromthemountingtabsandremovethecover.

YoucanconnectasingleD2‐HIPWR‐POEpowercombinertoyourD2G124‐12Pswitchortwo

D2‐HIPWR‐POEpowercombinersforredundancytoprovidemaximum(15.4watts)PoEpower

onalltwelvefrontpanelRJ45ports.UseFigure 2‐23asareferenceforthefollowingprocedure.

1. ConnecttheDCpowercordfromeachD2‐PWR‐POEpowersupplytoeachofthePowerIn

receptaclesontheD2‐HIPWR‐POE.

Note: Only D2-PWR-POE power supplies can be combined using the D2-HIPWR-POE combiner,

D2-PWR power supplies cannot be combined.
