Removing the Timing Belt
Turn OFF the Controller.
Turn the Manipulator laterally.
CAUTION
When turning the Manipulator laterally, there must be two or more people to work on it so
that at least one of them can support the arm while the others are removing the bolts.
Removing the bolts without supporting the arm may result in the arm falling, bodily injury,
and/or malfunction of the robot system.
Remove the following parts.
• Base Cover (M/C Cable Downward: C8L), (M/C Cable Downward: C8XL, C12XL)
• Connector Plate (M/C Cable Downward)
• J1 Motor Unit
Remove the J1 Timing Belt.
Perform steps  and  of Removing the Cable unit.
