2.3.6.6 Printhead Software Control
During operation at 900 pulses per second (pps), one print cycle is performed at each phase-switching step
to meet the specifications of the printhead (solenoid drive frequency: 900 Hz). The drive pulse width is ad-
justed by using an A/D converter to detect the drive voltage and is kept within the area shown by the oblique
lines in Figure 2-67.
