Pairing with PIN
A PIN authorization for the pairing of two Bluetooth devices makes the device
pairing more secure. If this function is enabled in the gage, you have to autho-
rize the device pairing with a PIN. You must confirm this PIN in both devices
(within approx. 30 seconds); setting see page 58.
PCDatex
Data transmission to an Excel spreadsheet file via the PC-Datex program.
PC-Datex is a software program for importing data to the Office program Excel.
You can download the PC-Datex program free of charge from the download
area on Fischer homepage and link it to the Office program Excel as an Excel

Settings
Settings for the data transmission via Bluetooth.
Start Pairing
The gage is ready to be paired and visible to other Bluetooth-capable devices
(PC, smartphone, etc). To pair the two devices, you need to select the gage from
the device list, in the PC (smartphone) for example. If the Pairing with PIN func-
tion is activated, the two devices will be paired only if you authorize the pairing
with a PIN, setting see page 58.
Transmission Power
In this menu, you can set the transmission range (power) of the Bluetooth signal
on the one hand and the energy consumption of the gage on the other. You can
extend the rechargeable battery running time by reducing the transmission
power for Bluetooth, setting see page 58.
USB
Data transmission via the USB interface on the gage.
