Verifying Operation
The tester performs a basic self test when you turn it on. To
run a more thorough self test for an acceptance test or as
part of a routine equipment check:

Connect the main and remote testers as shown in
Figure 1-9.

Turn the rotary switch to SPECIAL FUNCTIONS.

Use D to highlight Self Test; then press H.

If a fiber module is installed, select Mainframe.
5
Press P.
If the tester reports an error, refer to “If Something Seems
Wrong” on page 13-7.
