Issue Possible cause and remedy

Label metering
– separation error
– jam.
The labels used were not well suited.
We recommend to use only labels that have been
approved by FP.
Labels stick to one another.
Take the labels out of the dispenser.
Slacken / fan the label stack and reinsert it.
Internal problem of label print function.
Contact Customer Service.
Letter jam. On how to clear a letter jam, please see chapter 16.3.
Letter transport fails to start. PostBase Fusion does not show the Home screen.
Return to the Home screen and try again.
Sensor does not recognize letter.
Position the letter again.
Metering not possible. No product / postage set because
– mailing data are incomplete or
– weight value is missing.
Check product settings (see chapter 5.1).
No postage in postage meter.
Please load postage (see chapter 8).
Credit of the current user is too low.
Have the system administrator assign new credit.
Maximum postage value for metering exceeded.
Please contact the system administrator.
“Maximum weight has
exceeded for the current
product selection…”
(error message)
Weight limit for selected product has been
exceeded, (e.g. First Class limit is 13 ounces).
Place the mail piece on the weighing platform
set the weight manually (minimum weight 0.1 oz).
