and slots (each on the underside at the left)
and are secured in position relative to each
other in this way.
• Lift the feeder slightly, align it to the ramp
and lower it carefully. The catches on the
ramp must snap into the slots on the Feeder.
• Couple the feeder to the postage meter in
the same way.
• Remove the protective film from the trans-
parent cover flap.
Mounting the pendulum
• Insert the base of the pendulum into the fix-
ture of the ramp.
• Press down firmly on the pendulum until it
clicks into the shaft.
Connecting the feeder
Caution! If the feeder was previously in a
cold environment (i.e. below 10 °C / 50 °F):
Wait at least two hours after unpacking before
connecting the feeder. The feeder needs this
time to adapt to the environmental conditions.
