Monitor Group Enter a distinguished name or common name
for the users which should get the monitor role
on the system.
Example -
cn=user,ou=Group,dc=mycompany,dc=com
Admin Group Enter a distinguished name or common name
for the users which should get the monitor role
on the system.
Example -
cn=sysadmin,ou=Group,dc=mycompany,dc=com
l At least one of the groups (Monitor or Admin) must be specified. The entered
value must correspond to the value of the LDAP/AD memberOf attribute of
the respective users.
l OpenLDAP servers require the Slapo-MemberOf overlay to be installed on the
server.

4. (Recommended) Test the LDAP/AD settings before applying the settings to the system
(see "Test LDAP/AD Settings" on page 323).
5. (Recommended) Test LDAP/AD usernames and passwords before applying the LDAP/AD
settings to the system (see "Test LDAP/AD User" on page 324).
6. Click Apply. Changes to LDAP/AD settings forces a log out of the system. Click Yes to
continue.

Disable LDAP/AD
De-select the Enable LDAP/AD check box to disable LDAP/AD on the ETERNUS CS800
system. The LDAP/AD settings remain saved.
Test LDAP/AD Settings
Click Test Settings to test the connection settings between the ETERNUS CS800 system and
LDAP/ADdomain server. A successful connection will be indicated by a Success dialog box
(see "Successful LDAP/AD Connection" on page 324). A test connection that fails will be
