HORIZON
17.1 What
Horizon is the interface with the X100 autopilot. This software is used for:
● Uploading new flight plans
● Monitoring and interacting with the X100 during flight
● Simulating flights
17.2 User interface
The user interface consists of:
● The background map view (waypoints, flight lines, take-off and landing location, ...)
● Flight instruments
● Action buttons
● Telemetry indicators
17.3 Simulate a flight
P REREQUISITES
GCS with flight plan and associated background map exported from Quickfield to Horizon.
After exporting a flight plan from Quickfield to Horizon, it is important to simulate the flight and
check the following items:
● Fully loaded background map
● Correct flight plan (flight height, flight lines, turns, ...)
● Correct landing circuit
