23.4 Sudden weather changes
In case of sudden wind speed/direction changes or other weather phenomena, you have to act
quickly.
1 Depending on the weather change, do one of the following:
The wind direction changes during the
checklist, but before the launch.
Reposition the launcher if necessary.
The wind speed increases before or during
flight and exceeds 2 bft.
Abort the flight.
One of the following weather phenomena
occurs before or during flight:
• Strong wind
• Rain, hail
• Hurricane, tornado or any kind of whirl
• Thunder and lightning
•Snow
Abort the flight.
