Upload the flight plan to the X100
LINK field
The LINK field in Horizon indicates the link status between the GCS and X100.
This field can have the following values:

REREQUISITES
GCS with prepared for flight with:
Flight plan exported to Horizon
Modem connected
No wireless link established between GCS and the X100 autopilot. Restart Horizon to
kill any established links.
X100:
With data link antenna mounted
With GPS antenna not mounted
In ON mode

OTE: When establishing a wireless link, it is important that the modem is connected to the
GCS before a charged battery is mounted in the X100.

OTE: The initialization of the X100 takes about 25 seconds. In its final steps the aircraft will
move its elevons up and down once.
The flight plan needs to be uploaded to the X100. There it is used by the X100 autopilot to
control the aircraft during flight.
1 Select UAV-01 from the Autopilot Control list.
2 Select default.fly and press >> in the Flight Files area.

A dialog appears to start the upload of the flight plan.
Message Color Description
LINK red There is no wireless (RF) link between the GCS
and the X100.
LINK green There is a wireless (RF) link between the GCS and
the X100.
