The brake release lever must never be used to lower the load platform
during operation. It is intended only for use in emergencies (refer to
Chapter 9.1.2).
6.2 Safety check before starting work
Perform a test run with an empty load platform to ensure that the entire
travel path of the platform is clear.
When descending, check the cable winding of the trailing cable on the
spring-loaded cable reel and manually rewind as necessary.
The load platform must be stopped immediately if
− the EMERGENCY STOP button is pressed.
− the DOWN limit switch is triggered.
− The UP limit switch is activated or the trolley has reached the end of
the mast.
The load platform must not be started if
− It is overloaded (red warning light is on).
− The load platform has been turned to the landing-level safety door for
loading or unloading.
− the safety gear has triggered.
