The brake release lever must never be used to lower the load platform
during operation. It is intended only for use in emergencies (refer to
Chapter 9.1.2).
6.2 Safety check before starting work
Perform a test run with an empty load platform to ensure that the entire
travel path of the platform is clear.
When descending, check the cable winding of the trailing cable on the
spring-loaded cable reel and manually rewind as necessary.
The load platform must be stopped immediately if
the EMERGENCY STOP button is pressed.
