7 Dismantling (disassembly)
The rack and pinion hoist must be disassembled according to the
assembly and operating manual under supervision by a qualified
person specifically appointed by the operating company!
Assembly personnel, refer to Chapter 1.6.1
For disassembly, the same regulations and safety instructions are
applicable as described in Chapter 5.
Disassembly is generally carried out in reverse order to installation; in
addition, also observe:
• Dismantle the landing level safety gates first (fit 3-part protection first).
• Before removing the ladder bracket, check to make sure that all
ladder locks are engaged.
• The platform must be stopped in such a way that end of the ladder
section to be removed is located above the upper edge of the trolley.
• Only release the rail brackets if there are no further ladder sections
above the anchor.
• Always unload the platform in the interim (the platform cannot be
moved if overloaded).
