5.4 Installing the ladder sections
The hoist can be erected from the platform. However, the following
points must be observed:
− The load platform is also intended for assembly.
− Use fall protection on the front side.
− The hoist must only be operated from the load platform (use an
extension lead Item No. 2804 for the control).
To start, the load platform is on the ground:
• Load the ladder section into the load platform (load capacity
max. 200 kg) and close the loading ramp (make sure that the
interlock hook completely interlocks).
• Hook in fall protection (refer to Chapter 3.2.1).
The fitter ascends in the load platform, operating it using the hand
control.
• Press and hold the UP button on the manual control until the
assembly protection bar of the trolley is approx. 20 cm from the end
of the ladder.
Before ascending, ensure that the foot section is standing
securely. During the ascent, do not lean over the side walls of the
load platform.
The topmost locking lever on the ladder must always be open. It
acts as overrun protection for the ladder section.
A 1m ladder section must be mounted on the foot in order to be
able to fix the anchorages in the centre of the ladder section in
further erection.

from the load platform into the base
ladder section (1), position vertically and
then push fully together.
