8.3 Replenishment and Inspection Tasks
8.3.1 Lubrication of the gear rack / drive pinion
• Lubricate gear racks or spray with adhesive lubricant.
Recommended lubricant:
− GEDA Special spray Item No. 02524
− Grease cartridge Item No. 13893 for grease gun
The racks must be lubricated more often in the case of increased
use or multi-shift operation.
8.3.2 Trailing cable / cable guide profile
• Apply lubricant to the trailing cable.
Recommended anti-friction lubricant:
− Interflon Fin Film WB
• Check the cable guide profile for wear.
Gap may not be wider than 10 mm.
8.3.3 Check/replace gearbox oil
Check the gearbox oil, replenish as necessary. Observe the
manufacturer's operating manual in the appendix.
− The gearbox is lubricated for life.
Recommended lubricant:
− Synthetic Poly-Alpha-Olefin oils PAO ISO VG 320
