9.6 AFGO alarms and alarm limits
If the system has the AFGO function (option)
installed, the alarm profile changes accordingly
when AFGO is activated:
Unique alarms
Inactivated alarms
Alarm limit settings
9.6.1 Unique alarms
Airway pressure: High (AFGO trigger
condition)
'Airway pressure: High' in AFGO is triggered
when the measured fresh gas pressure is
above 120 cmH
2
O. Check external circuit for
blockage.
9.6.2 Inactivated alarms
Expiratory Minute Volume: High
Expiratory Minute Volume: Low
Apnea > 60 s / Apnea > 120 s
Continuous APL pressure
9.6.3 Alarm limits
Manual (MAN) mode alarm limits and default
values also apply to AFGO mode except when
a particular alarm is inactivated.
