9.8.4 Backup gas holder (option)
An extra gas backup cylinder can be
connected to the system with the addition of
a backup gas holder.
If the installed backup gas holder is configured
to deliver O
2
, the backup gas system cannot
be connected to the system.
The backup gas holder, gas hose and cable
are permanently attached to the system, and
shall only be removed by a service technician
trained and authorized by MAQUET.
Mounting the extra gas backup cylinder
1. Connect the cylinder as described in
'Backup gas cylinder replacement', page
207.
2. Use an allen key to adjust the support
plate so that it is completely adjacent to
the cylinder. Secure the cylinder using a
restrainer belt.
