System checkout
Ensure that all parts are dry, free from dust
and other particles and are at room
temperature prior to assembly.
Thoroughly inspect all removed parts for
cracks, deformities, fissures and other material
wear. Replace if necessary. Ensure that all
parts are correctly assembled.
CAUTION: Ensure the expiratory outlet one
way valve on the patient cassette hasn't
been moved out of position and is
functioning properly (it should cover the
opening completely).
