Chapter 22 Multi-Scale Inputs and Capabilities (OPTION)
Technical Reference Manual
Multi-Scale Calibration data sheet, refer to parameter
61222 on you calibration data sheet and verify that the
serial number shown there matches that inscribed on
your Multi-Scale circuit board.
To enter these calibration parameters into your 574, key
in the following:
STEP 1 Locate the A/D information sheet in the scale
card option kit packet. The first column refers
to the parameter number and the second
column refers to the unique CAL information
for the scale card option board. Important
Note: The information on this form indicates
factory calibration for the A/D has been
performed as a second scale. If the card being
installed is a third scale enter this data starting
at P61310 thru P61322 instead of P61210 thru
P61222.
STEP 2 Determine if the information being entered is
for the 2 or 3 scale option card. Proceed to
step 3 for the second scale card entries or step
4 for the third scale card entries.
STEP 3 If the information is being entered in for the 2
scale card press [100] [SELECT] [23640] [ID]
[ENTER]. If scale 2 is being setup press [102]
[SELECT] [2] [ENTER] to enable scale #2.
Then press [61210] [SELECT] and proceed to
enter the information from the A/D calibration
sheet into the respective locations. Press the
[ENTER] key after keying in the information
at the parameter selection. After one piece of
information is entered, the [SELECT] key will
step to the next parameter.
ie. [100] [SELECT] [23640] [ID] [ENTER]

Proceed with the calibration procedure as necessary.
* Step 4 is for the scale 3 card only.
STEP 4 If the information is being entered in for the 3
scale card press [100] [SELECT] [23640] [ID]
[ENTER]. Then press [61310] [SELECT]
and proceed to enter the information from the
A/D calibration sheet into the respective
locations. Press the [ENTER] key after keying
in the information at the parameter selection.
After one piece of information is entered, the
[SELECT] key will step to the next parameter.
ie. [100] [SELECT] [23640] [ID] [ENTER]
