23.1 Sample Scale 2# Cell
(GSE Part#: 194503-00020)
The Model 574 can accommodate a 2 pound sample
scale into its enclosure for convenience of establishing
more accurate pieceweights.
Supplied as a standard item is the sample platter itself.
The loadcell will install directly beneath the platter.
This option must have the multi-scale card in order to
function. Refer to chapter 22 for more information on
the Multi-Scale card.
The following accessories for the 2# sample scale are
available from GSE:

23.3 Load Cell Installation Procedure
Hardware installation procedure for SAMPLE SCALE
LOAD CELL: (refer to figure 36)
NOTE: Some steps
might require the unit to be
positioned on its side during installation. Be
careful when doing so.
1. Important: Make sure the multi-scale
option card is installed before adding the
option load cell. If a third scale is to be added
to the system, make sure the third scale board
is installed before adding the option load cell.
Refer to the multi-scale card installation
documentation in chapter 22 of this manual.
2. The Option Load Cell is easily installed by
SECTION - 23.3
