4.2.2 Cabling a Dual 100/1000BASE-T High-Speed Network Module
PerformthefollowingstepstoconnectEthernetcablestoPort1and2ofa100/1000BASE‐T
high‐speednetworkmodule(HN4000‐GbT).ThecablesmustbeEthernetCAT‐5e(orbetter).
Step 1. VerifythattheEthernetcablesarelongenoughtomaintainaproperbendingradius
wherethecablesenterthe
frontoftheHN4000andarerou tedthroughacable‐guide
slotintheright‐sidemountingbracket.
Step 2. ConnectacabletoPort1and(optionally)toPort2ofthehigh‐speedmodule.
Step 3. DressthecablestotherightoftheHN4000andthroughacable‐guide
slotinthe
right‐sidemountingbracket.
Step 4. TerminatetheotherendoftheEthernetcablespercustomerrequirements.
