NOTE
The memory recording trigger is enabled only when the RMS
Recorder is recording.
6.6 Start and Stop Operation (RMS)
This diagram describes the start/stop actions of basic RMS
recording. Instantaneous Waveform Recording is presumed
to be enabled (ON).
Press the
START
button and LED light in green.
RMS
Data input starts when the trigger conditions of the
RMS Recorder are met.
The display shows "Storing" while the RMS Recorder
waveform is being stored.
If the printer is enabled, the RMS Recorder waveform
prints as it is displayed.
MEM (Instantaneous Waveform Recording)
Data input starts when the trigger conditions of the
Memory Recorder are met.
If pre-trigger operation is enabled for the Memory
Recorder and if the trigger conditions are met before
the timed trigger point, data input starts from the
trigger event.
When Auto Save is enabled and measurement is
aborted in progress, input up until the stopping point
is saved automatically.
Auto saving is executed.
Trigger mode: REP
Restart measurement (previous data is cleared)
Trigger mode: SING
End of measurement
Trigger mode: REP
Pressing the
STOP
button aborts measurement.
