16.1 Changing the Battery

NOTE
To avoid problems with battery operation, remove the batteries
from the product if it is to be stored for a long time.
If the product shuts down because the batteries are exhausted, it
still continues to consume a very small amount of power. After
the shutdown, be sure to turn the power switch off.
When using the alkaline batteries and then the following
warning message appears, replace the batteries.
"WARNING 620: Battery low."
A low battery warning appears on the Waveform Screen
when the battery charge is low. When this indicator
appears, replace the batteries or recharge the battery pack as
soon as possible.
Replacing the Batteries
1. Turn the power OFF.
2. Take off the cover of the battery compartment.
3. Remove the old batteries and replace them with six new
LR6 alkaline batteries with the correct polarity.
4. Replace the battery cover.
