CHECKING THE BRAKE HOSES AND BRAKE
PIPES
1. Remove:

frame toe-board
2. Check:
·front brake hoses ①
·rear brake hoses ②
Cracks/wear/damage
Replace.
Fluid leakage Replace all damaged parts.
Refer to “FRONT AND REAR BRAKES” in
chapter 5.
NOTE:
Hold the vehicle in an upright position and
apply the brake pedal.
4. Install driver seat
BLEEDING THE HYDRAULIC BRAKE SYSTEM
WARNING
:
Bleed the brake system if:
·
The system has been disassembled.
·
A brake hose or brake pipe have been
loosened or removed.
·
The brake fluid has been very low.
The brake operation has been faulty. A loss
of braking performance may occur if the
brake system is not properly bled.
1. Bleed:
·brake system
a. Add the proper brake fluid to the reservoir.
b. Install the diaphragm. Be careful not to spill any
fluid or allow the reservoir to overflow.
c. Remove the cover of the brake oil pump ③ add
the moderate brake liquid.
