Removal and Replacement Procedures
Remove the System/Core I/O Board
1. Remove the two retaining screws, one at the top right, and one at the bottom left.
2. Slide the System/Core I/O Board toward the right and pull it out of the chassis.
CAUTION Once the System/Core I/O card has been removed, be sure not to remove the lithium
battery installed on the System/Core I/O card. The stable storage battery is NOT field
replaceable. If the System/Core I/O card is being replaced, be sure to return the
replaced or defective System/Core I/O card to the proper Hewlett-Packard repair
facility.
