• Reads and Writes DDS-1 formats dependent on the mounted tape dimension:
60 meter tape - DDS-1 = 1.3 Gbytes
90 meter tape - DDS-1 = 2.0 Gbytes
The above capacities will increase from 2 to 4 times the non-compressed capacities. The average
data compression factor is 2 to 1.
