4. Secure the cables to the cable management arm.
IMPORTANT: Leave enough slack in each of the cables to prevent damage to the cables when the server is
extended from the rack.
5. Connect the power cord to the AC power source.
Removing the server from the rack
To remove the server from a Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Compaq-branded, Telco, or third-party rack:
Procedure
1.
Power down the server.
2. Extend the server from the rack.
3. Disconnect the cabling and remove the server from the rack.
