Configure the RMON Alarm parameters to track ICMP messages.
This configuration creates an RMON alarm that checks
icmpInEchos
on the
switch once every minute. If the statistic exceeds 200 within a 60 second interval, an
alarm is generated that triggers event index 110.
RS G8000(config)# rmon alarm 1 oid 1.3.6.1.2.1.5.8.0
RS G8000(config)# rmon alarm 1 alarm-type rising
RS G8000(config)# rmon alarm 1 rising-crossing-index 110
