Setup vs. the Command Line

Once the administrator password is verified, you are given complete access to the

switch. If the switch is still set to its factory default configuration, the system will ask

whether you wish to run Setup (see “Initial Setup” on page 35”), a utility designed to

help you through the first-time configuration process. If the switch has already been

configured, the command line is displayed instead.
