4-4 Selection of a Suitable Installation Position

PERSONAL INJURY. Risk of injury to hands from moving machine
parts. When selecting the
installation position, make sure that the
labels and ribbons can be replaced at any time
without any danger.
Caution
EQUIPMENT DAMAGE. Select an installation position to avoid
vibrations on the printhead,
electrostatic charge and soiling caused
by lacquer, adhesive or other similar products used in
the
production process.
Warning
PERSONAL INJURY. The mains plug must remain accessible at all
times, because it serves as the
main power disconnect.
Positioning of Labeller/Peel Tip
Identify a suitable position for the LPA according to the required product
direction and the
type of applicator module used. Refer to the appropriate
Applicator Addendum for details on
the applicators.
Note: Direct apply applicator is fitted on the standard LPA unit.
