■ DTMF speed
The rate at which DTMF memories send individual DTMF
characters can be set to accommodate operating needs. This
setting does not affect an optional pager or code squelch op-
eration.
➀ Push [POWER] to turn power OFF.
➁ While pushing [(VOL)SET L] (left side), push [POWER] for
1 sec. to turn power ON and enter initial set mode.
➂ Push [(VOL)SET L] or [(SQL)MONI] to select the “dtd” dis-
play as shown above.
➃ Rotate the main band’s tuning dial to select the desired
speed as shown in the table at right.
➄ Push [POWER] momentarily to exit initial set mode.
