 The green LED on each installed and detected “Line Card” should be pulsing on and off at a one
second rate.
 Disconnect the telephone lines from a Line Card, after about 20 seconds you should get a “Line
Trouble” system message on the line card Display from this line card and the monitoring
program will also receive this system message.

Alternatively, connect a telephone line to the Line Card, after about 20 seconds you should get a “Line
Restoral” system message on the display.
 Report the “System” message to the monitoring program if connected and running.
• 1010ssssss0000sAs20 (Line Loss message) Or
• 1010ssssss0000sRs30 (Line Restored message)
 After about two minutes, the “AC and Battery” restore system messages should occur.

 Report the “System” message to the monitoring program if connected and running.
• 1010ssssss0000sRs15 (AC Restored message) and
• 1010ssssss0000sRs03 (Battery Restored message)
 If none of the messages sent to the monitoring program received an “Acknowledge” or if the
communication link is disconnected then communications failed system messages should
occur.
