The Instron Series 4400 Universal Testing Instruments are
electromechanical systems employing the latest printed cir-
cuit board technology to provide a small, light and efficient
testing system. This manual describes the functions and op-
eration of the Control Console. Other manuals include

4400 systems and an IEEE Interface User’s Guide.
