When ā€œHELPā€ is on the display, press [ENTER] to
change the display to ā€œEā€. This indicates that the Error
type command is in effect.
The ā€œEā€ type commands are numbered 0 through 9, ex-
cept ā€œ4ā€ and ā€œ7ā€, which are not used. You must enter
one of these numbers on the keypad, followed by [EN-
TER] to execute an ā€œEā€ command. E0 lists error mes-
sages in all functional sections, E1 to E8 lists error
messages for sections 1 through 8 (except 4 and 7), re-
spectively, and E9 prints the list of error messages.
Table 8-1 lists the functional sections in the Series 4400
control console.
The following examples show the use of ā€œEā€ commands
after entering the Diagnostics Monitor as described pre-
viously.
