• Thermal Transfer Printing
The recommended standard “Paper Type” options for thermal
transfer printing are shown in the table below in order from the
lowest printing energy at the top to the highest at the bottom of the
table. If you are not sure how to set the “Paper Type” parameter,
start with the lowest energy setting (UBI GP 11) and work your
way up towards the highest (UBI HR 30), until you achieve the best
printout quality. Use of higher “Paper Type” levels than listed for
each ribbon type should be avoided, but lower levels are preferred
whenever an acceptable printout quality is obtained.
