• Connect the digital multimeter to the adjacent central motor plug contacts (3) and measure the
resistance between the contacts.
• If there is a defect, replace the motor and send it to Invacare® Service for inspection or repair.
Note
A resistance of between 40 and 80 ohms indicates an intact brake.
A resistance of 0 ohms or a very high resistance (mega-ohms or infinity) indicates a short-circuit,
a bad connection or a defective brake.
