8.8.1 Repairing a flat tire in the front
• Repair the flat tire as described in the user manual supplied with the wheel chair.
8.8.2 Replacing the steering head bearings on the steering wheels
ATTENTION: Danger of crushing to the hands and feet by the weight of the wheelchair!
• Pay attention to the hand and feet.
• Use proper lifting techniques.

• Switch the vehicle's power system off (ON-/OFF key).

• Secure the vehicle against rolling away by placing wedges under the wheels.
CAUTION!
Incorrect reassembly can damage the bearings and cause the steering wheels to fall out!
The single-row angular ball bearing rings are not identical on both sides! There is only one correct
way to insert them!
• Follow the assembly instructions precisely!
Requirements:
• open-ended spanner, 19 mm
• Torque wrench
• large screwdriver, flat

When disassembling, take care of small parts such as screws and washers. Put all small parts
down so that they can be reassembled in the right sequence.
