LIP-9071 phone supports for LLDP and LLDP-MED extensions provides the ability to use discovered
information such as device type, software version and serial number, and other information for inventory
management.
Through the LLDP protocol, LIP-9071 phone communicates with the switch to learn the voice VLAN ID. There
is no longer a need to configure VLAN tagging manually.
