2.6 Network Connections
LIP-9071 phone has two RJ-45 Ethernet LAN jacks on the bottom of the phone. One of the jacks is the interface to
a local IEEE 10/100/1000 Base-T Network port. The other jack is a 10/100/1000 Base-T port for connection to a
PC.
The network interface port jack is wired as a standard MDI connection and the PC port is wired as an MDIX
connection. This wiring structure allows use of straight-through cables.
LIP-9071 phone network and PC ports support Auto negotiation for MDI/MDIX, speed and duplex (full or half). The
MDI and MDIX wiring for LIP-9071 phone network and PC connections are in accordance with TIA/EIA standard
