1. Highlight and select Wing TYPE in the SYSTEM
Menu using the Selector.
2. If only the Aileron channel is to control both Ailerons,
either with a single servo or with 2 servos connected
together via a Y-harness, then leave the Wing
3. If you will use 2 channels to control the Ailerons and
the aircraft does not have separate flaps, highlight and
select Wing with the Selector and then highlight
and select FLAPERON as the wing type. Plug the
right Aileron into the Aileron channel (Ch2) and plug
the left Aileron servo into the FLAP or AUX1 channel
(Ch6) of the receiver.
parameter set to the default of NORMAL and plug
the Aileron servo into the Aileron channel (Ch2) of the
receiver. Also use NORMAL if the aircraft has flaps
that are separate from the ailerons.
Note: If not using Ailerons as flaps, inhibit the FLAP
Switch and FLAP TRIM in the Devic.SEL function
in the SYSTEM Menu. This eliminates having a
severe out-of-trim condition if the FLAP Switch or
FLAP TRIM is accidentally moved.
4. If the aircraft is a Delta wing configuration, highlight
and select Wing using the Selector, then highlight
and select DELTA as the wing type. Plug the right
Aileron into the Aileron channel (Ch2) and plug the left
Aileron into the Elevator channel (Ch3) of the receiver.
Note: To properly set the servo direction when
using the delta wing setting, begin by using servo
reversing on each channel as necessary to get the
ailerons to move the proper direction with aileron
stick movement. If the ailerons move the incorrect
direction with elevator stick movement, swap the
channels that the servos are plugged into the
receiver to reverse them.
