If the aircraft is equipped with twin engines, you can use
the Twin Engine feature (Twin E.) for a 2nd throttle channel
with an optional separate digital trim. You must select the
FLAP or AUX3 channel as the Mate for the additional trim
to be available. If using another channel as the Mate, trim
the 2nd throttle channel using the regular throttle trim
along with the throttle channel.
Note: You must inhibit Channels/Switches in the
Devic. SEL function before they will appear in the list
as an option for a Twin Engine channel.
1. Highlight and select INH next to Mate under Twin E.
A list of available channels appears. Select the FLAP
or AUX3 channel if you want a separate trim for the
2nd throttle channel. You can select a different channel
if an additional trim is not desired. The normal throttle
trim can trim both channels at the same time. Plug the
Left engine throttle servo into the channel selected as
the Mate. Plug the Right engine throttle servo into the
throttle channel (Ch 1).
2. If trimming the 2nd throttle channel with either the
normal throttle trim lever or a separate trim lever,
highlight and select INH next to Trim under Twin E.
The setting will change to ACT. Pressing the Selector
toggles between INH and ACT. When set to ACT, you
can trim the 2nd throttle servo with either the normal
throttle trim or a separate trim, if Flap or AUX3 is
selected as the 2nd throttle channel.
3. If you select FLAP or AUX3 as the Mate and will
use a separate digital trim for the 2nd throttle channel,
highlight and select INH next to AUXT. This changes
the setting to ACT, enabling the digital trim that
corresponds to the selected channel. The digital trim
switches are next to the FLAP and AUX2 switches on
the transmitter.
