Replace Crankcase Air Breather Element
--- Every 2000 hours

WARNING: Be sure to wear safety glasses when using
compressed air (0.2 MPa (2 kgf/cm
2
, 30 PSI)).
1. Park the machine following the same procedure as
described on page 7-7 for preparation of inspection/
maintenance work.
2. Remove oil filler cap (1).
3. Remove bolts (2) from crankcase air breather cover (3).

NOTE: Make a note of bolt (2) position for reference at
assembling work.
4. Remove crankcase air breather cover (3).
5. Remove air breather element (4) from rocker lever cover
(5).
Do not remove gasket (6) from the rocker lever cover.
IMPORTANT: If gasket (6) sticks out from the rocker lever
cover (5) groove, install new gasket.
6. If any damage is found on the gasket, remove it by
pulling gasket tab (7).

CAUTION: Be sure to wear safety glasses and gloves
when using detergent for cleaning.
