Handle Fluids Safely−Avoid Fires
y Handle fuel with care; it is highly flammable. If fuel ignites,
an explosion and / or a fire may occur, possibly resulting in
serious injury or death.
x Do not refuel the machine while smoking or when near
open flame or sparks.
x Always stop the engine before refueling the machine.
x Fill the fuel tank outdoors.
y All fuels, most lubricants, and some coolants are flammable.
x Store flammable fluids well away from fire hazards.
x Do not incinerate or puncture pressurized containers.
x Do not store oily rags; they can ignite and burn
spontaneously.
x Securely tighten the fuel and oil filler caps.
