Check Air Conditioner Condenser
--- every 6 months
If condenser (1) is covered with dirt and/or insects, air
conditioner cooling performance will be reduced. Remove dirt
or stain foreign material from fins of condenser (1) using tap
water. In case the condenser has been severely contaminated,
use a soft brush or a plastic fin comb tool.
Do not use a hard brush, which may damage the fins.
Check Air Conditioner Compressor Belt
--- every 6 months
Check the belt for abnormal deflection and damage. Check
HVAC belt tension by depressing the midpoint shown with L
mark in the illustration with the thumb. Deflection must be as
follows with a depression force of approximately 98 N (10 kgf,
22 Ibf).
Approx. 6 mm (0.2 in)
Belt Tension Adjustment Procedure
1. Loosen lock nut (2) of tension pulley (4).
2. Move tension pulley (4) to adjust belt tension by turning
belt tension adjustment bolt (3).
3. Securely tighten nut (2).
