Defines the threshold to distinguish between logical levels on the external
input. Depending on the number of levels (see :DIG:NLEV), a subset of
the thresholds are actually used.
If NLEV == 2, the LOWer threshold is used to distinguish between ‘0’ and
‘1’.
If NLEV == 3, the LOWer threshold is used to distinguish between ‘0’ and ‘-
‘, while the UPPer threshold is used to distinguish between ‘-‘ and ‘1’.
